GRAND OPENING!

Too busy for my own good!

Last time I updated, I was just about to open the 'beta' stage of my business which included free sessions for anyone who scheduled within the months of July and August. Little did I know just how much people want pictures! I ended up doing 23 sessions total, including a wedding at the very end! (Sorry, not free, but heavily discounted) Needless to say, I was busy! That averages out to 3 sessions each week! My portfolio is now very padded and my skill and experience even went up quite a few notches! My hope is that these last two months have helped to spread the word and get my name out there.

With nearly 1,000 pictures in my portfolio of families, babies, weddings, and models, I don't want to cram this blog to capacity with all the samples. I will, however, show a few of my favorite sessions and final products...mostly for my own amusement. Maybe you'll like them, too. :)

Maybe in the coming months, I'll show some from each session, but this should suffice for now.

Maternity

After we did the family pictures, I took the liberty of doing a few maternity pictures of my sister and her husband. She was 6 1/2 months pregnant, radiant, and beautiful! And he was such a good sport!

The Waters Family

This last Saturday I knew I was taking pictures of a family with 3 boys. I have to admit I was a little nervous about working with that many boys. I thought it was going to be a very draining experience and that they would be so rambunctious. But to my surprise, they were the most obedient, well-behaved young men that I think I've ever met! They did everything I asked them to do, even when it was hard, and they never once complained or got out of line! What a fun experience I had! I hope you enjoy these pictures of a wonderful family!

Anaya Take 2!

We decided to do another session with Anaya to see if we could get a few more pictures of her in a happy mood. This time we went to Aliante Park and had a great time! She was so much more willing. Enjoy!

Crouch Family

So I was completely forgetting about the family session I did about 3 weeks ago! They were my first session of the summer!

A fun bright and colorful family who knew how to have a great time! I had so much fun with them!

Anaya's Photo Shoot

I had decided to do a morning session so the lighting would be just right, and it was perfect.However, Anaya, who is only 1, was not in a good mood. It took about 15 minutes to get her to sit all by herself without Mama holding her, and even then, it didn't last very long. I did manage to get a few nice shots.

One of her very favorite thing to do is read, so we brought out the books and she got very excited!

First Photo Shoot of the Summer!

So I'm getting ready this morning for my first photo shoot of the summer. I'm going to be taking pictures of an adorable 1 year old girl, who also happens to be my niece. I'm very excited! I think I would be a tad more excited if I had the props that I'm planning on getting for the studio I'm trying to set up, but alas, it's one step at a time for me.
